February Updates

Welcome to the Night Vision Classical Radio Blog.

New tracks added to the playlists for February includes Catya Mare's latest album, 'Destination Love', from which the track 'Sparkling Love' received an excellent (five stars out of five) rating. Congrats to Catya!

Been using the website Airplay Direct to find music for broadcast. One artist I downloaded a track by saved his music mp3 in a strange format. As a result, he did not get airplay. If any of the Airplay Direct users read this blog it is important that they ensure that their tracks are in the proper format, with the proper metadata (included in file). It makes my job so much easier, and I usually don't take time to fix these issues (in fact, I don't know of any broadcasters who do). Most of the artists we play have releases available at one of the major digital download sites (so I may supply the 'buy' option to our listeners), artist and album name, release year and label (so royalties can be paid to the artist's pro if applicable)

Andrew Pearce's 'Cinema Symphony' has made it's debut here at Night Vision Classical this month. I will stream a couple of selections from this wonderful piece of work from time to time.

The Ken Myers Project's new release 'Beyond' releases this month, and I will add a couple of tracks to the mix ahead of it's February 22nd release date.

Night Vision Classical is now ranked number 13 in the 'Soundtracks' genre, which is the highest it has ever been thus far in it's two year running. This is a good spot, as it is right up there with some of the best stations in this genre at Live365.

So long for now,

Ken
